This is allowed here, right? ... ;)

The findings-

"So NOW what?" Benji looked at Joel, his face completely blank.

"What do you mean now what? Now we have another baby." Joel said, throwing the test into the sink and walking out of the bathroom. Benji sat back down on the lid of the toilet with his face back in his hands. Maybe this wasn't the way another baby was suppose to come into their lives, but it was coming either way.

A while later Benji found Joel in the kitchen, making Pop-tarts.

"Are you still getting rid of my car?" He stood back by the archway and asked. Joel ignored him. "Can I have one?" He finally walked up and asked as Joel dropped the hot half burnt Pop-tarts to their plate.

"You can't, but the baby can." He mumbled as he pulled soy milk out of the fridge. Benji picked at the edge of one of the Pop-tarts.

That evening-

Bumpkin was laying against Benji's chest drinking from his bottle as Benji flipped through the channels. He landed on a program about tattoos.

"Better save room for names of all our kids." Joel sarcastically said as he walked through the room. Benji ignored him.

Month 3-

"That's your baby. Right there. See the fohawk?" The doctor pointed as Benji laid back, watching the sonogram with Joel and Tony.

"He's smaller than Bumpkin was at this stage." Joel mentioned as Bumpkin sucked on his pacifier. He finally reached over for Tony to take him. Tony held him as Joel and Benji focused on their next child on the screen.

"He's gonna look like Joel." Benji mumbled. Joel snickered.

"He's a big blur. How would you know who he's gonna look like?" Joel scoffed.

"Bumpkin looks like me. This one will look like you." Benji said, rubbing the side of his barely there baby bump. Joel giggled.

"That doesn't make any sense Benj. Bumpkin looks more like me." Joel teased. Benji gave him a look.

"He has my chin." Benji mumbled and looked back at the screen.

Month 4-

Benji was sitting on the couch, his legs crossed, with his hands up and fingers pointing toward the ceiling. Bumpkin was on the floor stacking up some soft blocks.

"What in hell are you doing?" Joel started to snicker as he came into the room and asked. "Are you actually meditating?"

"No. I just feel calm, at peace. I thought this would be a good time to try this pose." Benji said quietly, not wanting to disrupt his inner calmness.

"Well you look kinda stupid." Joel told him. Benji opened one eye.

"That's not very nice to say. You farted in Science class one time."

"Benj, you used that one already. If you feel at peace, I'm glad. Do whatever you need to do to keep it." Joel said and picked Bumpkin up off the floor.

"What are you doing?!" Benji's eyes came opened and he shouted. Joel froze.

"What? I was just going to get him ready for lunch!"

"Well feed him in here. He helps balance my calmness." Benji said and then closed his eyes again and resumed his pose. Joel rolled his eyes and sat the baby back down on the floor.

Month 5-

"God darn it." Benji mumbled and rolled out of bed again. It was his sixth trip to the toilet since getting in bed that night. He finally dragged himself back, his hand rubbing over his slightly larger baby belly.

"Pee again?" Joel groaned as Benji crawled back into bed.

"For the sixth damn time. I have to pee every ten minutes and I'm constipated. How's that for Karma?" Benji moaned and pulled the covers back up over him. Joel smirked and reached over to rub Benji's belly.

"Have fun sleeping on your back for now. Next month you probably won't be able to. You'll be way too swollen to."

"I'll give you something that's swollen." Benji moaned and rolled his way on top of Joel. Joel giggled as Benji's lips went to his neck.

Month 6-

"Timothy is running all over the place. When did he start walking?" Joshy, the twins older brother, watched his young nephew take off from one bench to another as they sat back enjoying the sunny day in the local park.

"He's been walking for a while. You knew that. But you really should start paying more attention. You're working too much at the factory." Joel complained as Bumpkin brought him a bug, smiling big behind his pacifier. "Oh nice." Joel looked down at it. "Go take that to daddy, but don't eat it on the way there." Joel told him. Bumpkin stared at him for a moment. "Go on." Joel told him in a sweet voice and pointed over at Benji laying back on a blanket in the grass. Bumpkin toddled to him and put the bug on his slightly more swollen baby belly.

"Hey Bumpkin. What you doing buddy?" Benji pulled his sunglasses up as he lifted his head to see his child. "Ah! What the shit!" Benji screamed as he saw the big beetle looking bug resting on his bump. He slapped it away as Joel and Joshy started laughing.

"Tell daddy he's a big baby!" Joel told his child. Bumpkin turned back to Benji and gave him a stare. Benji was staring back.

"That was icky. Why couldn't you bring me a flower or even an old cigarette butt instead?" Benji asked him. Bumpkin stared at him for a moment more before pulling his pacifier out of his mouth and handing it to Benji. Joel saw and laughed again.

"That's right Bumpkin, daddy's a baby."

"Thanks." Benji said as he took the pacifier from his child.

Month 7-

"Damn hiccups." Benji mumbled as he stood back and watched as Joel put together another crib. Tony handed him tools as he asked for them.

"If you have hiccups, drink some milk." Joel told him as he tightened another screw.

"It's not me. It's the fetus." Benji groaned and felt his stomach jump again. Joel looked over. He smiled and got up to walk over to Benji. He laid his hands against Benji's stomach and sure enough, hiccups.

"I remember when this happened to me all the time, during the last few weeks anyway." Joel said quietly with a smile as he felt his unborn baby experience the joys of hiccups.

"I remember that. That was awesome." Benji said with a flat voice.

"Oh come on. These are the things you're going to miss." Joel said, his hands still on Benji's skin as he watched.

"I'm hungry." Benji complained. "Let's go to Denny's."

"Grand slam?"

"A couple."

Joel smiled and took Benji out for dinner. Bumpkin was sitting in a highchair as his daddies passed food back and forth.

"Mmm this burrito is awesome. I want another one." Benji said and promptly ordered another meal.

"Have we thought of names yet?" Joel asked as he placed more french fries on Bumpkin's tray. Bumpkin squealed and threw a couple over the side of his highchair.

"I don't know. Let me check my twin esp." Benji said and paused for a moment. "Nope. No names."

"I just meant are we even close to thinking of any?" Joel asked, picking up on Benji's sarcasm.

"No. I don't know. But damn this burrito is good." Benji said and paused again just to smell it.

"Toey Toey Toey Toey!" Bumpkin started chanting in a way past his normal bedtime joyous chant, waving a spoon through the air.

"Tony's not here baby. Hey, we can name it after Tony?"

"No. We're not Australian."

"You mean Italian?"

"Yeah. Whichever."

Month 8-

"I kinda like the name Holden." Benji mumbled as he sat back on the park bench, reading his copy of The catcher in the Rye and feeling the baby kick.

"That was such a dumb book." Joel complained as he sat back down, handing his slushy over to Benji. Benji lowered the book and stared at the drink.

"Where's my straw?" He asked, seeing just one straw sticking out of the plastic lid. Bumpkin was running around in front of them chasing seagulls.

"I forgot. Just use mine." Joel shrugged. Benji gave him a look. "What?"

"I'm not using yours. I need my own."

"Benj, do you want some or not? I'm not walking all the way back to the hot dog stand just for another straw." Joel told him. Benji again just stared at him. "Are you kidding me? You can give me a rim job but you can't use my straw?" Joel asked, sharing the glare Benji was giving him. "Ugh. Fine. You big baby." Joel yelled and got up.

"I don't share straws." Benji mumbled. Bumpkin tripped and started screaming as his little hands slid against the pavement. Joel ran to him as Benji lifted himself off the bench, feeling the baby take a roll.

Month 8 and a half-

Benji was sitting back in bed, a tray of Oreos and pizza Bagel bites sitting beside him as Bumpkin laid beside him down by his feet, playing with his toes.

"You still bored?" Joel asked as he walked in after refilling Bumpkin's sippy cup. Bumpkin sat up and reached for the cup. "Gotta give me the paci first." Joel tried dealing with him. Bumpkin just stared at him with is hands out for the cup. "Looking cute with those brown eyes aint a part of the deal." Joel told his young son. Bumpkin started to smile. "You know you're cute don't you?" Joel smiled back and talked in silly baby talk. "Still isn't gonna work." He stopped, his face going straight again, and said. "Paci for sippy."

"Maybe you should use real words with him and he'll know what the fuck you're talking about." Benji mumbled as he flipped through the pages of the book he was reading.

"Benjamin!" Joel scolded him. "Mr grouchy! This is why our son told his pediatrician to fu off the other day!" Joel shouted. Benji laughed.

"That guy deserved it. He was trying to give our child a shot."

"It was his booster immunizations!" Joel yelled. Benji snickered. Bumpkin finally got a hold of the cup. Joel still wouldn't let go of it. "No. Paci for sippy." He told him again. Bumpkin finally pulled the pacifier from his mouth. Joel held his hand opened for it. Bumpkin just stared at him. "In my hand." Joel told him. Bumpkin placed his free hand into Joel's hand. Joel rolled his eyes. "Fine. But when your teeth get all fucked up, don't come crying to me about it." Joel told his baby and then gave him the cup without demanding the pacifier.

"Tisk tisk. Curse words." Benji teased while keeping his eyes on the book as Joel left.

That night-

"This bed rest stuff isn't fair." Benji complained, lowering the book. "I'm bored."

"Too bad. You're the one that refused to take your birth control."

"Well I get points for taking my prenatal vitamins right?"

"Yes. You do." Joel groaned, facing the other way and trying to sleep. Benji stared at the back of his head.

"Joely?"

"Leave me alone. I'm trying to sleep."

"The baby is kicking." Benji said. Joel immediately turned over and felt for the baby.

"He is not!" Joel gave a deeper groan. Benji giggled.

"He might be a she you know."

"I know. I don't care. A girl is good too. I already proved my manhood by birthing a boy."

"Yeah but Bumpkin came from my seed. Not yours. So technically you haven't really proven anything yet." Benji told him. Joel just stared. "I'm pretty sure you're only capable of shootin' out girls." Benji told him. "You're too pretty. Too feminine looking to produce anything else." Benji was making it worse as he watched Joel's brow furrow even more at him under the dim light of his reading lamp.

"Go back to reading your stupid book." Joel growled and then rolled back over, pulling the covers back over his head.

"I wouldn't be under there if I were you. I've been pretty damn gassy lately." Benji told him. Joel threw the covers off his face. "And it's not a stupid book. It's Homer's The Iliad. I'm really liking the romance between Achilles and Patroclus." Benji mentioned as he turned a page.

The next morning-

"Damn, feels like my rectum is going to pop." Benji complained as he stood after his name was called at the doctor's office. Joel helped him wobble his way back to see the doctor.

"Pressure?" The doctor asked once Benji was resting back on the examining table.

"Yes. Is there any way the baby could slip out from my ass?" Benji asked. Joel blushed.

"No." The doctor had to fight himself from laughing. "The baby isn't coming out of that area anyway. But your body is preparing to give birth. Everything looks good. You'll be ready in the next few weeks. Remember what we talked about. Try to just relax around the house until you know it's time."

"When will we know it's time?" Benji asked. "Joel's water broke while in the shower. We didn't really have to worry about the walking around and relaxing at home thing."

"Oh, you'll know." The doctor assured them.

Month 9-

"My cankles are sore." Benji complained as he stared at his swollen ankles from the position he was in on the couch.

"It could be worse. You could be a cankle spanker." Joel told him as he passed through to the kitchen with Bumpkin in his arms. Benji shook his head.

"Oh shit." He suddenly groaned and grabbed his belly. "Joel, grab the stopwatch!" Benji shouted.

A few minutes later-

"Are you sure it feels like a real contraction?" Joel asked as he sat beside Benji with the stopwatch in one hand and his other hand resting on Benji's back. Benji was barreled over into the armrest of the couch.

"It's real." Benji grunted. "Okay, another one." He squealed, his arms wrapped around the front of his huge pregnant belly.

"Damn. That one was about seventy seconds long. It's time!" Joel jumped up excitedly from the couch. "I'll grab your baby! Grab the bag!" Joel shouted, pointing down at Bumpkin.

"Dude."

"Oh. I mean grab the baby! I'll grab your bag!" Joel shouted and ran up the stairs, calling as many people as he could on the way there.

Eighteen hours later-

"This is a huge bitch!" Benji moaned loudly from his bed, his hand squeezing Joel's.

"I guess that goes along with the payback huh?" Joel asked, letting Benji squeeze as hard as he had to. Sweat fell from Benji's face as he nodded.

"Who's getting the payback? Me or you?" Benji groaned. Joel meant the way Benji was squeezing his hand and would probably be grabbing his hair and calling him only Lord knew what. But Benji had a point. It sorta was payback for Benji causing Joel to go through the same thing not that long ago. But he wouldn't have traded it for anything since they got a beautiful little boy out of it. A beautiful little boy they had fondly nicknamed Bumpkin while he had still been in the womb.

"Just don't push yet! Breathe! But don't push!" Joel yelled at him. Benji bit his lip and squealed a little more. "Why didn't you ever squeal for me like that?" Joel asked, trying to lighten the atmosphere a little.

"This is for you you jackass!" Benji yelled, squeezed Joel's hand harder, causing Joel to squeal a little himself and then started asking God what he did to deserve such pain and punishment in his life.

Twenty minutes later-

Benji was breathing hard as he rested back against his pillow, his medical team working around him. His ears seemed to have popped from his own squealing and he didn't hear much until he heard the high pitched wails of a baby. He whispered over to Joel a couple times, asking what's going on but it wasn't until Joel finally turned around to face him, with tears in his eyes and a huge, proud smile on his face that he finally heard his whispers. A nurse propped Benji back up against his pillows and Joel slowly lowered the light blue bundle down into his arms.

"Congratulations. We have another boy." Joel told him in a choked up whisper, staring down at their baby. He kissed Benji and then kissed the top of their baby's tiny head again before sitting back and watching Benji with their brand new infant in his arms. Benji started to giggle as a tear fell from his eye.

"This one has my chin too!" He proudly announced. Joel chuckled, wiping a tear from his own eye.

Minutes later, after daddy and baby were both properly checked over and cleaned up, Joel was standing next to Benji's bed again with Bumpkin in his arms. Bumpkin gave the small infant a hard stare, the pacifier hanging from his mouth.

"That's your baby brother." Joel told his son as he gently bounced him in his arms. Bumpkin's pacifier suddenly fell from his mouth. Joel picked it up off Benji's blanket and tried giving it back. "Here. You can have it if you want it. You're still our baby too." Joel softly told him and kissed his head. Bumpkin made a bit of a face and reached for Benji. He started fussing as it took a moment for Benji and Joel to make the trade. Benji took Bumpkin into his arms and held him to him as Joel proudly walked his newborn baby around the room.
