September just hit me.
An hour ago we had our last video conference with University of Capetown. We talked about the trip- what we liked, what we didn't, our favorite bits, and how it has impacted us. It was good to see the faces from so many miles away.
Walking back to my apartment, it was like being hit in the chest.

This summer, 16 students enrolled in EMSC 470W CAUSE class, traveled to South Africa to witness first-hand the conflict between the demands of industry and tourism, the needs of native peoples and the preservation of one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Their extraordinary experience has been transformed into a presentation that is both enlightening and entertaining. We invite you to join them as they share their experiences and insights at the Environmental Justice in South Africa Symposium."
