Listening to Ben Folds in the stacks. Looking for books that I should read why haven't I read them yet I can't remember what I'm supposed to read.
Question: what should I read next?
Currently on the list: Thoreau's "Walden," "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" if I can actually find it in this god-forsaken place, Foer's "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" (I might have that backwards.)
I know there's stuff I've been meaning to read but haven't, and yet I can't seem to remember any of it.
DAMN IT some kid just came out of the elevator and scared the heck out of me. The creepiest thing I can imagine is someone coming out of that elevator, walking over to me and seeing their reflection in the computer screen just before I feel their breath on my neck.
And now I'll sit in the sun and see if I can write a horror novel.
