George died today.
For those of you who didn't know, George was my grasshopper.
I guess she didn't think she could face the new year.
A short obituary:
George was a good grasshopper, as far as grasshoppers go. She was a katydid, NOT a locust. She was also a she, even if I only found out last week. George enjoyed jumping, frightening her neighbor (Shorty the fish), and climbing on the walls of her home. Her favorite foods were broccoli, rose petals, and lettuce. R.I.P.
I'm sorry, George.
