Living Arrangements
“No, it’s no problem. I’ll make other living arrangements for him…yes, yes, ok goodbye.”
Curious eyes looked at him as he hung up the phone, then he turned and smiled.
“Don’t worry about a thing. He totally fell for it, by the time he finds out we’re already out of the country it’ll be too late. Now let’s finish making those living arrangements shall we?”
Eeteuk was tugged down onto the couch and Kibum embraced him, and they stayed like that for hours.
Eventually, Eeteuk’s phone began to ring, Kibum reached for it, careful not to wake the other, and removed the battery, shoving it and the cellphone under a couch cushion.
Finally, they could be together and not have to pretend they were nothing more than work colleagues and roommates.
Playing piano at dawn
The beautiful melody was what woke him from slumber, and curiosity got the better of him, so he quietly slipped on a jacket, then shoes and left, being careful not to wake his roommate.
As he walked across the campus he could hear the very faint sounds of the melody, but still, it mesmerized him.
The music room wasn’t lit, but there was enough light to see the figure playing at the piano, his fingers gliding over the keys like they were skates gliding over ice.
