Kyuhyun picked up a rock and tossed it into the fountain, causing the water to ripple in a very beautiful way.

Unseen by the couple on the other side of the pond he silently watched them, watched how they shared quick kisses and held hands as they talked about anything and everything, seeing only each other and not the word around them.

Kyuhyun’s heart clenched painfully at the sight of another kiss, one he wanted to be sharing with Ryeowook, but instead it was Sungmin. With each passing moment he felt his heart break into millions of tin pieces which broke into even more millions of pieces.

Suddenly he felt himself falling forward and the next thing he knew he was in the fountain, soaking wet and face to face with a man with the most adorable smile he had ever seen.

The man quickly apologized to him in rapid mandarin before switching to broken Korean. Kyuhyun smiled, the first smile to grace his face in a long time. “It’s….ok. I’m…fine.” He replied in slow, broken mandarin which caused the other man to smile brightly at him.

“I’m Zhou Mi.”

“Kyuhyun.”

“Kyuhyun are you alright?” Ryeowook and Sungmin said as they came around to the side of his fountain, having head the splash.

“Yeah….I’m fine. This is Zhou Mi. We’re gonna go now though…we need to get into some dry clothes.” Kyuhyun said distractedly as Zhou Mi helped him out of the fountain and then they walked away, heading to the hotel Zhou Mi was staying at because that was closer than Kyuhyun’s apartment.

Sungmin smiled as he watched them walk away. “What did I tell you Wookie, I knew he’d find the right person for him.”

“I hate it when you’re right. I think he’ll be able to forgive us now after what we did.” Ryeowook said, staring after Zhou Mi and Kyuhyun with a small smile on his lips.
