Summary: Kame gets sick and the rest of KAT-TUN insist on coming over to his apartment to take care of him. They treat him like a baby, and then Kusano shows up and insists on feeding Kame chicken noodle soup.

A.N.: I wrote this for the JE Gen Meme and the original prompt was Kame gets a cold; AT-TUN treats him like a baby. I sadly do not own any of the boys… though we all know we’d love to own at least one of them.

Kame felt like his head was going to explode and that ringing noise was not helping at all, oh wait that was his phone. “Hello?” Kame answered, trying his best to sound like he wasn’t sick but apparently it didn’t work.
“Kame is that you? Wait you sound sick, you’re sick aren’t you?” That was Tatsuya, and Kame knew it would be no use trying to lie to him since Tatsuya could see straight through any lie Kame told him, at least most of the time anyways.
“Yeah I’m…” Kame was stopped in the middle of his sentence by a rather painful coughing fit. He could practically see Tatsuya on the other end of the phone telling the rest of the group that Kame was sick at this very moment. And he was right because a second later a new voice came on the line.
“Kame we’ll be right over, there is no way you are going to be home alone today.”
“But Maru I can take care of myself so there isn’t really any need for you guys to come over and take care of me, especially if it means missing work.” Kame said, trying to convince Maru, as well as the rest of the group since he was pretty sure they were trying to listen in on what Kame was saying to Maru.
“No you cannot. You’ll stay in bed and sleep the day away and not eat a single thing and that just isn’t healthy! You need someone there to care of you and who better than the people you spend practically every day with.” Jin was now on the line, lecturing Kame about not eating and staying in bed all day when in fact when Jin had been sick last week that’s all he did, even when Kame had taken time out of his day to bring him his favorite ramen.
“There is no way I’ll be able to convince you guys to not come over is there?”
“Nope~ We’ll be there in half an hour, so don’t you dare even think of leaving or even getting out of bed, well I suppose it’s ok if you want to go lay on the couch but otherwise don’t move!” And then Jin hung up the phone not giving Kame a chance to reply.
“Moron. I’ll get up if I want to, especially if I have to go to the bathroom, speaking of which..” Kame threw off the covers and swung his feet over the edge of the bed, and when he tried to stand up…he fell backwards right onto the bed.
“Fuck. I’m too weak to even get up and walk around my own apartment, I guess I have no choice but to wait until the guys get here.” Kame lay back down, though he didn’t bother pulling the blanket over him since he was feeling hot, and he soon fell asleep.
2 hours later the rest of KAT-TUN arrived, having been sidetracked by a trip to the grocery store to get some food that Kame’s stomach would be able to handle, as well as for some reason popcorn and what Jin kept calling Laulipops, aka lollipops.
They entered Kame’s apartment quietly, just in case the youngest member of their group was asleep and sure enough when Junno was sent to check his room he found the other fast asleep. When he reported it to the other members, they all unanimously decided to let him sleep a little longer while they made him something to eat as well as help him out by cleaning up the apartment a little, and while it was clean for the most part Jin was given the task of dusting while Koki was made to go clean the bathroom and Junno would straighten up anything that needed to be straightened up.
After an hour passed, Jin seeking that Maru and Tatsuya were finished cooking the chicken noodle soup, went into Kame’s room to wake the other up. “Kame~” Jin whispered and after it didn’t work he decided to try a different tactic so he moved closer, so his lips were right next to Kame’s ear and..”Oh my god Kame! Ran-chan got out and she’s running loose through the building, hurry we have to go catch her!”
That woke Kame right up. “WHAT?!” He shouted and was about to sit up but he had another coughing fit and turned away from Jin so he wouldn’t cough in the other man’s face and get him sick as well, and when he did he saw Ran-chan right where he had last seen her, laying on the bed next to him.
“Jin what did you do?” Koki hissed as he came running into the room, having heard Kame’s shout. “I woke Kame up?” Koki glared at Jin before smacking him on the head. “Idiot what did you go and do that for?” “Because the chicken noodle soup was done and so I thought I’d come wake him up…” Jin started to say but was cut off by Kame. “Who made the chicken noodle soup?”
“Maru and Tatsuya, don’t worry we wouldn’t let Jin anywhere near your kitchen to cook food especially when you’re sick. Now hold still Kame-chan so I can get this cold compress on your forehead~” ” Junno said, having just entered the room.
“No.” Kame said pouting and crossing his arms.
“But Kame it’ll help you feel better.”
“I said no!”
“Kame stop acting like a baby. Now either you hold still on your own or else Koki and Jin will hold you down while I put the cold compress on your forehead.” Junno said, signaling to Jin and Koki to move onto either side of the bed so they could hold Kame down in case he decided that he didn’t want to cooperate.
Kame shook his head again, but this time he put his hands on his forehead in an effort to try to keep Junno from getting the cold compress on his head. That was the final straw and the next thing Kame knew he was being held down by Koki and Jin, his arms pinned to the bed, and Junno was placing the cold compress gently on his forehead.
“Now Kame-chan that wasn’t so bad now was it?” Jin said, using a sweet tone.
“Fuck off Jin.”
“Now now Kame you shouldn’t swear at your bandmates like that, they’re only trying to help you get better~” Kusano said as he entered the room carrying a tray that held the chicken noodle soup, a small plate of crackers, and a large glass of water.
“Kusano…why are you here?”
“I heard from Jin that you were sick so I rushed over to help take care of you.” Was the reply Kame got as Kusano set the tray down across Kame’s lap. “Now say ahh~” Kusano said as he picked up the soon, gently dunked it into the soup and held it up in front of Kame’s mouth.
“You have got to be fucking kidding me there is no way..mmph!” Kame was cut off from what he was about to say by Kusano shoving the spoon into his mouth. “Now Kame watch your language and eat your soup. It’s good for you.” Kusano said before he shoved yet another spoonful of soup into Kame’s mouth, and Kame allowed him to do so until he felt full and then he clamped a hand over his mouth.
“Are you full?” Kusano asked him to which Kame replied with a nod of his head so Kusano set down the spoon and moved out of the way, allowing Maru to come and take the tray out of the room.
“Ok now let’s get you undressed!” Kusano and Jin said, both reaching for Kame.
“WHAT?! No stay the hell away from me!” Kame shouted, grabbing the blanket and burying himself under it.
“Geeze Kame all we wanted to do was help you strip down to your boxers so we could help you into the bathroom so you could take a bath.”
“Yeah well…stop treating me like a baby! I can undress myself just fine thank you very much.” Kame said from under the blanket.
“Well fine then, undress and let’s get you into the tub.” Kame heard Jin say, and so he complied, pulling off his shirt and pajama pants the best he could underneath the blanket and when he was finished he flung off the blanket and sat up and held his arms out, and Jin and Kusano’s reaction of course was to stare stupidly at him while Junno, Tatsuya, Maru and Koki laughed.
“Well are you going to help me to the bathroom or not? Kusano you can carry me since I can’t trust Jin to not drop me.”
“Oh come on I only dropped you the one time and you didn’t get hurt too badly now did you?”
“Jin I fractured my ankle.” Kame deadpanned and so Kusano picked up him and carried him into the bathroom, setting him down in front of the bathtub. “Now do you need help getting out of your boxers or can you do that by yourself as well?” Kusano said pervetedly and Kame’s reply to that was to threaten to push Kusano head first into the bathtub.
Kame enjoyed his nice and relaxing bath, whoever had drawn the bath for him had even got to the trouble of putting bubble bath into the water, which helped Kame relax even more, and as he looked around the bathroom he noticed that everything that he had left lying around had been cleaned up.
“Well I guess that’s a plus to being sick, it means the guys will clean my apartment for me. I should get sick more often.”
Kame’s relaxing and quiet bath didn’t last for much longer because the next moment he heard a loud crash followed by yelling and he reached over and grabbed the remote for the CD player he kept in the bathroom and switched it on, drowning out the yelling coming from his living room.
