My Xbox did a new trick!
The other day, when the Xbox was working, I was playing some Guitar Hero 2, when I heard *tick tick tick tick*, and then an error message popped up saying that the disk was unreadable. For some reason, I got the notorious circular scratch on the game disk I was using. The console wasn't standing on end, I didn't move it, it just scratched the disk.
The good news is that I bought the game new at EBgames, and I also purchased their in store protection plan, which does cover these scratches.
The bad news is that I can't find the receipt. Sure, I can find grocery receipts going back to november, Christmas receipts from two years ago, the receipt for the spare controller I bought for the old Xbox last year, just not the one that I need.
