Waka said to go this way to get lunch... it's not far from the shop... ah... this doesn't look like the way... [He's turning around and walks a little bit back the other way, footsteps can be heard. The communicator is in the pocker of his coat, he just doesn't realize.]
... that's not the street I was on... I TURNED AROUND THE WRONG WAY?! [And he starts to panic, trying to figure out why nothing looks like the street he was on. He's a bit slow... doesn't realize he's actually not in Japan anymore.]
I'll just go back to the shop and start again! Waka will be angry for me taking longer, but this way I'll be sure to get there this time! [Now he's trying to find the shop, and not having any luck.]
