Another day, another interview?

Since my last post, I've had an additional interview that went fairly well. Despite that, I did not get a callback. The principal made it fairly clear that they would make their decision that day and notify whomever they picked that afternoon. I'm jealous of whoever they picked - it looks to be a fairly awesome school. The position was for 4th grade science.

Today's interview is at a middle school, for a 6th grade reading teacher position. It's on the other side of Chattanooga. I have applied to and contacted via email...3 other schools? In addition to the one I'm visiting today. Contacting them is at least getting me more interviews - so that's a plus. One of them just needs to click, and they need to hire me. :P I'm starting to mentally get a defeatist attitude, and I have to beat it down prior to every interview in the hopes that it doesn't seep out and make me boring/bad/etc. Plus, this is 6th grade. Sixth grade is world history year. It's like the perfect excuse to do The Lightning Thief as a reading teacher! But...yeah. This particular school that I'm interviewing at is fairly huge. They have like 400 sixth grade students. They have so many students that they have 3 teams of teachers (as in 4-5 teachers per team) just for the 6th grade alone. I'm curious how it works out, exactly - that's on my list of what to ask them. I try to take a few questions whenever I interview. Sometimes I have the opportunity to ask them or work them into conversation, and some times I don't. But I'd rather have them than not!

I feel nervous. -_-
