Reading Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging in French
okay, I know a lot of you read that book in like 8th grade, or whatever, but I'm reading it in FRENCH so HUSH. It's actually rather funny. I've never read the english version,but I'm guessing the translation sucks seeing as how the title in French is "Mon nez, mon chat, l'amour et moi", which means my nose, my cat, love, and me for those of you who don't know french, which is rather odd. I suppose "full frontal snogging" isn't exactly translatable from english to french. I'm sure they have thongs though. But who knows.
So, I'm just sitting here, on a FRIDAY night, doing absolutely nothing (except talking to John, a gay friend of mine), and it sucks. I'm seriously considering getting some homework done and/or cleaning my room. I just bought my tickets to Gatlinburg, which means I'm definitely going. YES! Taking a week off school in April to work my ass off caddying a bridge tournament and being yelled at by bridge players is just what I've ALWAYS wanted.
And I'm doing the same thing in March too. Pittsburg.
And this summer. Atlanta.
And next fall. Denver.
And so on and so forth for, oh, the rest of my life. Some of these people (like sky) have become my extended family. I HAVE to see them. They just rock.
Other than that, my spring break will consist of seeing Matt, seeing family, and laying around doing nothing. YES I love to do nothing. It's SO much fun.
Actually I might have to do some studying. Those AP's are looming.
But who am I kidding. I'm a SENIOR. What's wrong with me? Why am I motivated? Where's the senioritis? Heeeere Senioritis! come get me. I hate studying.
Actually I'm lying. It isn't that bad.
