Sushi on the Roof
Ok, so it turned out I did indeed have pnuemonia. It sucked and I'm still coughing. However, everything is going well other then my health.
I got home from school and ate some sushi and a lime w/ salt on the roof for a spin on things. It was very pleasent, I love the roof.
I've been watching a lot of films lately:
Platoon, is great, very dramatic and revealed the dark side to the Vietman War. Jonny Depp was in it to my great surprise. He was in my favorite scene when they are taking the children out of a village they have burned. I though, "damn that guy was cute..." yet didn't have the slightest idea who he was. I found out at the end of the film, for there, low-and-behold, was my favorite scene, slown down and typed neatly as he strolled by with a little girl was "Jonny Depp as Lerner." Go figure... Jonny Depp, young with short hair.
I watched From Hell, a film recommended by friends, it was DAMN good. It also consiquently had Jonny Depp in it. I think I'm starting a weird trend.
I watched Hook, a childhood favorite of mine, then ended up ordering it on DVD, and got it today in the mail, huzzah! May this film never grow old... it's so goooooood....
I went and saw Peter Pan as I mentioned before, Seductive Green Man!
I watch Benny and Joon, a long time favorite
And I went to see Big Fish last Friday. WOW! I loved it!!! It was sooooooooooo good. I know this is not the most unbiased of posts, nor a well written critic..."this was good," but that's all I have to say for now. ::Raspberry::
I'm not sure what else to speak about for now. I miss my friends. I have gotten to see a few that have come back from college in the north, which has been great, but they shall soon be returning on the 17th... out of my life again til spring alas. But until then I have school and my local close knit lovelies to keep me busy.
Last words for today... My dad is self-centered and I don't like him (LONG STORY). I love good food and shall propably die from it(yummy!). I love films and books and they shall take over my life (Am reading Smoke and Mirrors By Neil Gaiman, JTHM, and A Green Man Anthology). And lastly, I ate sushi on the roof amongst the blue and white christmas lights... there is mush to say, but I shall end for today.
