Yay! Winter Break!

Today is the first day of WINTER BREAK. YAY!

It's Thursday which is weird, but school is always weird. But no school for three weeks! Almost three weeks. YAY! Except I have to do a book report for when I go back which sucks. Who wants to do homework on vacation? Teachers are dumb. I have to read a book by e.l.konisburg, or something. It's called THE MIXED UP FILES OF MRS BASIL E FRANKWEILER. It's really hard to spell the last part, so maybe I got it wrong. Everyone in my class has to read a book by someone who wrote it who lived in Florida and Mrs Koenisgburg lives in Ponte Vedra Beach! That's like twenty minutes from here! My friend Alicia is reading THE YEARLING. I think my book is better because it has mystery and stuff and it's not as long. But it still stinks that we have to read books over vacation!

Today I got up early and went outside to play and I rollerskated and pretended I was ice skating and it was fun except roller skates have four wheels so it's not the same. Then I came inside because it was really hot outside and I got to eat spinach and mushroom pizza ON THE COUCH while I watched a movie. It was called MEET THE ROBINSONS and it was really funny. It was weird that Wilbur was Lewis's son, though. And the villain was really funny - he had a binder that looked like a Lisa Frank binder, with a sparkly unicorn on the front. I don't think I'm going to let Keri watch it though because she'll go crazy about how the time traveling didn't make any sense. But I bet she'd like the part with the singing frogs. I just can't ever let her watch anything with time travel because she's so weird about it.

Sunday is Keri's sister's graduation from college but I can't go because the cars are too full so I'm going to my friend Alicia's house to spend the night. I'm so excited it's the first sleepover I'm going to that isn't at my house! It was so much fun with Kaya and Nora were here and we played games and ate popcorn and watched football! Me and Alicia, we're going to watch Christmas movies and make cookies and brownies and fudge lollies. It's going to be fun!
