Interesting weekend pending
This weekend could be quite interesting. Had been talking with the parents lately about plans for getting an appartment or such, most likely after the first of the year. We talked about the cost of rent and had a small discussion about finance. Buying a home was suggested. Could get a small starter house for about the cost of rent of an apartment, and my credit should be good enough to to get the morgage loan for it. So, at work when I was on break and our billing cleark was caught up we used the internet connection there to browse some local reality listings. Seen one place I'd love to get, 4 (or maybe it was 5) bedrooms, 2 baths, large deck in the back and large back yard, back is being fenced in, and did I mention the above ground pool? but the payments on it woulda been out of my price range, even with a roommate. unless the roommie wanted to pay about 300 month plus half the utilities. Did find another place that was much more realistic. Its really not a bad place. Good looking interior picutures, detached garage, looked like an attached carport. Going to try to get an appointment to look at the place since its empty, and could go from there. Definately within my price range. Only a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom. which would be good for me. That alone really may make for an interesting weekend.
