a couple new things for ya...
So I haven't updated in a couple days so here it goes...Everyone's leaving or has left for college. I*m sad cuz I*m having to say good-bye to some really great people. But I know that everyone is gonna have an awesome time and I hope everyone makes SMART choices! Yes...it may be college but PLEASE stay safe! But I can't really complain...the people that I really care about are sticking around. Ang is going to CMU though. But she's coming back like 3 times before I even start school...haha. Speaking of school...I have finally gotten all of my teachers for my classes, I got my parking tag, and have ordered all of my books! I figured out the buildings and the times of my classes, mapped them out and I think I*m all set! I got an e-mail today from my business professor that said that that class doesn't start until the 12th, not the 7th. Which is good. So until the 12th, I don't have to be at school until 11! Yay! So enough about school.
Lets talk about work. CRAZINESS! Now stay with me here..it gets confusing...Angela was a sales associate, she left, we hired Melissa, who was gonna be a senior at FHS this year, then we got Rhoda, she was gonna be our new boss cuz the old one was leaving, Well one day Rhoda just decided she wasn't gonna show up for work and hasn't showed up since. Then Michelle (my boss) left cuz she was moving to Chicago. So that left me, Gloria, Laura and Melissa. So everyone had a shit load of hours and it was crazy but we had it down packed. well THEN Melissa came in to get her paycheck and said that she was QUITTING, which was understandable because she already had a full time job and tennis practice was starting for her. So then there were 3. Me, Gloria and Laura and we all had like over 40 hours and what not, me and Gloria had 50-something hours. So then we hired Amber who is now our new associate, I actually used to work with her at DEB and she just turned 21. But she also has another job at Joann Fabrics so we will have to see how everything works out. I know its hard to believe but all this just happened in a couple weeks time!! Crazy! But home office said that they are not hiring another manager for a couple of weeks. lol well the girls are gonna be screwed come Sept. because I have the 3-7 requested off for the Fushion thing at school. But on a GOOD note! I got a raise! Which was more then I expected because this company is cheap! So we all thought like a nickel...lol. But we actually got a .50 raise. So say hello to $9.50/hour! I*m excited! As much as I do there and how I pull everyone elses dead weight, I deserve it! So with all the hours and the new pay...my paychecks are gonna be SWEEEEEEEEEET!
Puppy Update:
For all you that care, ZuKo is doing well. I think he may be teething. No, I know he is teething and I have the marks to prove it! But he is sucha cute little shit I cannot stay mad at him with the big puppy dog eyes and the floppy beagle ears!
Oh I almost forgot! The DECA reunion was Saturday at Mrs. Patty Wright's house! It was a good time! We played the hands game again! Still confusing as shit! Then...lol...MWright2 suggested we all play capture the flag! So it's me, Ang, Brad, Joey, Lauren, Kylie, Mrs. Wright, Mr. Wright, their kids and neighbor kids...all running around! It was so funny! Patty can run lemme tell yea! Okay so I didn't run, what a surprise lol...I was the jail watcher or whatever, I didn't do very well at that. Oh well. It was a good time! But for anyone that had her last year and was wondering if she got another job...yes she did! She is actually the new Fashion Merchandising teacher at the Career Center! So Ang and I left at like 8:30 and we went and saw The 40-year Old Virgin! Omg....the most hilarious movie you well ever see, I guarantee it!! I wanna go see it again so bad!
I need a boy...scratch that...a man.
But I think that's about all I have to say...geez...I said a lot more then I thought I would.
