Being pregnant and going to become a mom in late May, I've been pondering what I would do if I found out that my child is being bullied or is the bully. Of course, I have a few years before I seriously have to worry about it. However, it doesn't hurt to consider what to do in that kind of situation even if it may not ever happen.
With that said...if you knew a child was being bullied or was the bully, how would you handle it? What advice would you give them if they were bullied? What actions would you take if they are a bully?
Btw, the child in the scenario doesn't have to be *your* kid. They could be a foster or an adopted child. They could be related to you in some other way like a younger sibling, a cousin, or niece/nephew. They could be a student of yours if you're a teacher. They could be the child of one of your friends, who may be too weary of telling their own parents. They could be a patient of yours if you are a therapist. Or they can be a random child you see that is getting bullied or is bullying others.
