(no subject)
Life is fleeting. Case in point:
I'm sitting in my room alone, trying to catch up on video game blogs. I can hear Rez taking a shower probably 20 feet away from me, and everyone else is downstairs tending to their own business. I just finished a Mountain Dew, and I've pulled the pop tab off and am sucking on it because I have a terrible habit of putting things into my mouth. Suddenly, I suck in a breath while the tab is on the tip of my tongue, and it flies to the back of my mouth. It barely gets caught on the back of my tongue, and I make a choking noise, cough, and spit the small, sharp piece of aluminum into my hand. Looking at the thing afterward, had it gone into my throat, it probably would not have come back out.
That would have been a really stupid way to die.
