I'm not sure who wants to read this but I don't care, I prefer writing it down so I remember it. So anyways, AOL has been a thorn in the side of Spamsoft the entire week. Every other day they change their filters because they are afraid of Spamsoft, and rightfully so. We've been destroying them for years and we're the only ones left, so I'm sure they hired a few MIT guys to work specifically to stop us. Here are a few things they've done to slow down spamsoft, as they will never stop us.
1. Filter an AIM that gets warned
Solution: Sign off the AIM and back on to unfilter it.
2. Filter an aim after 40-60 IMs sent in a session.
Solution: Sign off the socket after 40 messages sent, sign on another aim.
3. Problem 1 and 2 combined.
Solution: No solution yet. After an aim is warned, you have to reconnect it, and after 40 ims you have to replace it. At this point it is uncertain whether the aim is tainted for the remainder of the session, or worse, for X amount of time. These are "AOL's last resort before we give up and let them spam" filters, as they have meshed every single filtered into one giant superhuman filter that's only possible to bypass with the exactly correct settings. We've been slaving over this for 2 days and it's close. Don't worry though, Spamsoft is smarter than AOL and we will end up victorious in the end.
