So today I found the music video for the Simple Plan song that I talked about in my last entry. Watching it has made me hate it so much more. The music video is basically them playing their instruments in one of the most god-awful, heart-wrenching situations ever: a traffic jam. Because the traffic is so bad, people end up getting out of their cars to watch them play.

The whole message of the song seems so much more pathetic when they're singing, "to be on the edge of breaking down, and no one is there to save you. No you don't know what it's like, welcome to my life," when they're in the middle of a fucking traffic jam. Yeah, I hate traffic jams as much as the next guy, but I would hardly say that my life starts going down the drain when I find myself in one.

And another thing: Simple Plan is causing the traffic jam, too. How do they expect people to drive when there is a fucking band playing in the middle of the highway? They also grossly misjudged their demographic, seeing as everyone who can drive is at least sixteen, which is far too old for this song.

If you have any desire to see the video, you can find it here: http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2652143
