I watched the funniest video in Psych today. It was on Narcolepsy (sp?). Anyway, I learned that it was hereditary and is actually quite persistant in dogs, which usualy breed within familys. I also learned that sleep in narcoleptics is induced by intense emotions.
So they showed some dogs the were brought to a new environment and fed with many treats. The dogs were so happy that they would just plop down on the grass and sleep. It was so funny to see a Dauchsund eat a treat and then fall down in two seconds. I wish i could find it on the net to link it.
