Well, overlooking the very obvious point that I don't like having to watch the shadows for a person who might be concealing a knife...

That girl, who "confessed" to the crime? What do you make of that?

She was obviously innocent. I've never even met her and I knew as soon as I saw her that she didn't do it. Someone had her scared enough to lie and confess, though.

Exactly.

Someone is pulling strings. I don't appreciate being jerked around. And I hated seeing that girl like that. This whole deal makes me sick.

Yea... the question being, what? There's got to be someone who knows what's going on and isn't talking, or some evidence that hasn't been found or is being concealed...

I just hate it. I don't know many people here yet, but none of the ones I've met deserve this kind of worry topped on to... well, being here. Yanked from home without warning, and now having to worry about which of the people they're living with has the dagger ready to be plunged into their back? Or which of their friends will get a painful, if impermanent, death?

I'm going to lose sleep over this. And that vexes the everloving crap out of me.

Guess all we can do is keep our eyes peeled for anything that looks wrong... and make sure our friends don't turn down any dark alleys. For now, at least.
