This weather is nuts, isn't it? The island was finally starting to feel like spring, and now it seems like winter is setting in all over again. Everyone seems to be frozen. I know a lot of teachers have canceled class, but considering what I teach, I don't think that's a good idea. Physical activity will keep you guys warm! So don't try to skip my ( Read more... )

Haven't you noticed all the people moping around recently? I'm not the only one sad to see friends go. You knew a bunch of the ones that vanished too, right? Don't you miss them at all?

Sad. Frustrated that I can't do anything.

We all want to go home, sure. It doesn't change the fact that when we go, we leave behind people that came to care about us here. We can't win, it seems.

They're in a better place, and you still have people that care about you here. And to use an old cliché, I don't think they'd want you to be sad and mourning them.

And if you take this to the extremes, like some others have, and you decide that it's better to simply seclude yourself away because then you won't get hurt again? It doesn't make sense to force yourself to be miserable.
