Orson Welles was a G.

"If you want a happy ending that depends, of course, on where you stop your story."

This is a quote that has been making the rounds in my head today. At first reading you might think it pessimistic. But really, it could be applied to the opposite and still be true.
My life would have had a happy ending in the beginning of June last year. It would have been a goddamn tragedy if you had stopped it in September. It would have been a romantic comedy if you had ended it during fourth period. A suspense thriller if it had ended in sixth.
And further and further and tighter and tighter the time can go, thinking that if the narration stopped right now, this moment, would it have only gotten better in the next? Worse?
This is not a reason to stop telling the story: This is a reason to continue telling the story on and on and on.
