[See now, Katie's general goal was to get to this supposed barrier that surrounds Luceti, but she's ... well, she's not lost. Keep going in any one direction and she'll end up walking right into it, right? And so she decided to just follow the river and see if it took her where she needed to go. Which ... has now turned into a lake. HMM.

Oh well, lakes are pretty. She'll work out which direction she should go next in a minute or two, but for now she's exploring. And by exploring we mean walking one foot after another on the very edge of the lake, heading Noel's way.]

[She sees that, young lady. B| Not that she'd scold her or anything, but she's worried about her slipping and falling in.] Ah-- be careful.

[Hands out for balance. And she looks up to see who's talking and offer her a smile, only ... blinks and looks past Noel, tilting her head in a curious stare as she comes to a stop, one foot hovering over ... the water's edge.]

[Blinking as well, Noel turns her head to see what Katie's staring at. Of course, nothing's there, so she looks back to see... well, to see what looks like her about to fall in.

All Noel can do is watch in horror.] Y-You're going to fall in!

[But she has catlike grace! ...only she's distracted staring at ...whatever that is and Noel catches her off guard, so she jumps a little--and loses her balance. Her arms pinwheel for a second and then she falls into the water with a small yelp. LOOK WHAT YOU DID, NOEL.]

[OH SHIT. SHE IS SO SORRY, LITTLE GIRL. Noel quickly shuffles to her feet, running over to where Katie was and putting her arms into the water in an attempt to pull Katie out.]

[Wet cat alert. Er, little girl. She hasn't gone anywhere - water's not too deep here anyway - and wlll just settle for hacking and coughing for a couple seconds while Noel hauls her out. And shaking her head vigorously shortly after.]

...ow. [Because falling into lakes totally hurts.]

Terribly. I think I broke my leg. Water's very hard, you know. [Still shaking her head vigorously, gdit, there is water in her ears. The ones Noel can't see, anyway]
