[Four days. Four days since her return, and Noel hasn't stepped foot outside of House 19. Frankly, she's a little terrified of what could happen, as paranoid as it sounded. ...then again, she probably had good reason for it, too. Murdering four and injuring dozens more doesn't come without its consequences, whether you could control it or not.

[Noel, you know you can't go for a walk in Luceti without running into everyone, right? Because Litchi is out for a walk as well. Seeing Ragna out with Noel is just reassurance that things seem to have returned to normal, and a small, relieved smile starts to twitch onto her lips.

She'll just give them both a short nod in greeting. If anyone understand the levels of awkward that can ensue after powers from home go overboard, Litchi definitely can. She won't push Noel to talk if she doesn't want to.]

So maybe it's true. Maybe seeing her out there initially scares Noel because of what she remembers what happened that day -- when she attacked both her and Mr. Dave. After everything that's already happened between the two of them... how could Noel still interact with her normally after this?

But dat smile. Through thick and thin, she's still smiling at her and Ragna (maybe it's just ragna she's smiling at).

Noel looks away, obviously still ashamed. You don't need to be so kind to her, Litchi. 8(]

[Yeah, only smile at Ragna. The guy who murdered her. He doesn't really raise an eyebrow or question Litchi's intent when she nods in greeting towards them. He doesn't know what happened between Litchi and Noel during the fateful day, so he wouldn't guess otherwise. Litchi's always been nice to Noel.

He won't say anything. It's up to Noel to pursue a conversation here. It's not his place.]

[Litchi perfectly understands the glance away. She could hardly bring herself to look at either one of them after what happened last year, after all. And even with all that happened, she knows it wasn't really Noel who attacked her. The Murakumo, yes, but not Noel.

And so, trying not to push too hard, but still wanting to say something, she settles on:] I'm glad you're both alright now.

[That's right. That reminds her.

Litchi... already knew, didn't she? Nami told her. So, then... what could she have been thinking, when she showed up at her doorstep on that day?

And there she goes, being the kind woman Noel always knew she was.

[Ragna still doesn't say anything. He doesn't need to. He's alright, and that's fine and all. But the real center of attention here, and as it should be given recent events, is Noel. She's the one that Litchi should be solely relieved to see alright.

[It's a wonder Litchi can see either of them at all with one cracked lens. Fighting down the urge to gently put a hand on Noel's shoulder -- she has a feeling the contact may not be entirely the best idea right now -- Litchi instead shakes her head.]

[She turns to give Litchi one last look -- you know, that look. The miserable, guilty one, similar to how Litchi must have looked all those months ago.]

I... I'm sorry.

[And that's the last thing she says before turning away again and... maybe attempting to walk off, depending on what Ragna does. 8|]

[Ragna's not moving, Noel. If you want to turn to walk away, he'll follow. But he's not leading her away from someone who is being nice to her after all that bullshit last week. Noel needs interaction like this to get it through her head that no one is out to kill her in revenge. As far as he can see, anyway.]

[Litchi can definitely relate to the overwhelming guilt. It's the exact reason why she won't push it too much. It's hard, she knows, and it's bound to be even harder on her since the scale was so much bigger.]

It's really alright. I forgive you. There are some things just beyond our control, after all.
