[Four days. Four days since her return, and Noel hasn't stepped foot outside of House 19. Frankly, she's a little terrified of what could happen, as paranoid as it sounded. ...then again, she probably had good reason for it, too. Murdering four and injuring dozens more doesn't come without its consequences, whether you could control it or not.

[Oh, he notices them walking around town all casually. And he nearly instantly recognizes Noel. He didn't forget the face of the woman who tried to kind of murder him a week or so ago. His heart rate started to rise after thinking about that particular incident but he restrains himself.

Instead of a fight, he decided to go a more casual way about this. To see if that had somehow been the Malnosso's doing.]

[Hey guuuys Bruce gonna be runnin' over now.]

Uh, excuse me! My friend told me she stays in House #27? But I'm kind of new here, so would any of you happen to know exactly where that is? [Complete lie, but hey! WHATCHA GON' DO.]

[...yeah, and she remembers the guy she tried to murder. Just seeing him approach and try to speak with them actually scares her, as indicated by the gasping and stepping back without really thinking much. Way to blow your cover, Noel. Seriously.

[Noel gasping is never a good thing. And he heard that guy running up, but he was just asking a question, right? That can't be too bad. Nope. Noel, stop overreacting. He'll just take charge for this, by simply stepping up a bit next to Noel.

... House 27 was awfully close to their house.] I think I have a general idea.

[He gives Noel a passing glance, but tries to make it look casual. As if he was just reacting to her overreaction. Wtf Noel why are you so nervous? Was that all really a trick from the Malnosso or are you pretending?]

You do? Ah, thank you, thank you. If you could just point in the general direction, I think I can handle it from there.

Well, he... doesn't really seem to notice or care, at least, so Noel won't do anymore overreacting. Save for the fact that she's letting Ragna do all the talking and will just stand there awkwardly. She knows who this guy is. Does he just not... recognize her?]

[He wants to give this guy the benefit of the doubt, but he's not sure how to read Noel's reaction to the guy and the whole deal in general. On one hand, his sudden appearance could have just startled Noel. Especially with her being on edge from when she was on a murderous rampage thanks to the Malnosso. Anyone might have been able to get that reaction out of her, with the way he came about it.

On the other hand, he could have been someone she attacked, which might have explained the look on her face when he did come up to her to ask something. Which means this guy could be looking for revenge against her without even considering the possibilities of why what happened, happened. If he did, and he found out that House 27 was close to House 19, their house, then he could be asking for directions to stake it out

[Gonna do this the HARD way huh? Well it didn't matter. He just came to see what Noel's reaction was gonna be. He won't push things any further.]

Well it was my fault. I didn't bother to ask for directions because I really didn't think the village was as big as it was. I guess I have a terrible sense of direction. Really should have brought my map along now that I think about it. Um. But you're right. You're right. I think I'll go back and get my journal to ask them.

Uh, thanks. I appreciate the help regardless. [He does a nod before he starts to walk past them.]

[As he walks past Noel, he'll stop and do a quick glance at her though. With a smile nonetheless.]

Oh! And thank you too. [A gesture that seemed like it was just out of kindness because Noel didn't contribute CRAP to any of this, but she may notice that for a second. Just a split second, his eyes flash green. Behind that smile was obviously some hidden intent. HE DIDN'T FREAKING FORGET YOU TRIED TO MURDER HIM NOEL. NEXT TIME YA WON'T HAVE YOUR BOYFRIEND HERE TO SAVE YOU! YOU HEAR ME!?

And then he's going to go on his merry way.]

[Still no response, but she's obviously listening. The uncomfortable feeling she's getting over this entire situation is practically suffocating to her; she won't even turn to look at him when he stops mid-way to say his thanks... though she does pick up something from the corner of her eye and turns to look.

...by that moment, however, he's already gone.]

[Good. Potential crisis averted, for now. Ragna is still suspicious of the guy, though. Very much so. But he shouldn't dwell on that, since the guy is going to be long gone in a moment, probably off to talk to his friend. Or do something else, who knows? He just looks back over to Noel for a moment.

She looks terrified.] ... You all right? [Said lowly, of course.]

[As much as Noel hates to say it, something about the guy, no matter how easygoing he seemed to be, made Noel feel glad she was with Ragna at the moment.

...she has no right to be the one scared in this situation.]

I'm... fine. Don't worry about it. [It's said just as low.]

If you say so. [That sounds lower. Well, it's Noel, so of course it might sound lower. Whatever. He won't worry about it for Noel, but instead he'll worry about how close the house he named was to their own. Right across the street.

Whatever. Now's not the time. He starts to walk forward a bit, slowing down enough to wait for her to start walking as well.]
