[Placeholder, you horrible person.] 1/3mikangirlJune 17 2011, 19:46:30 UTC
[Nami's crossing the forest directly from the orchard to the plaza today, intent on holing up in the bar for at least a few hours. She breaks out of the trees just a few yards behind said blood-splattered person, and pulls up short. That's...never a good sign.]
Uh, hey--
[Long blonde hair matted with blood. Which from this angle could be anyone--]
[She had already sensed the presence of Nami before she had even spoke to her. The familiar red hair...
Familiar?
...also in her memories? Who is this woman? Why can't she remember? Kusanagi doesn't understand. She's scanning her, looking for some sort of classification--]
[And suddenly, she's feeling the warmth of her hands on her shoulders.
Noel!? What happened?
Noel.
Noel.
That name rings in her ears. The ringing is back. It's back. The closeness of the two of them is suffocating her. She suddenly doesn't care who this is anymore-- GET AWAY--]
[Ahahhaa, yeah, wasn't expecting that. It's enough that Nami staggers, knocked to the side, eyes wide as she cups a hand to her face. Something's wrong, what did they do?]
[It's the obvious conclusion. Though by the way she hasn't started to run, it hasn't quite sunk in that Mu actually means to attack. Maybe she won't-- best friends forever? 8D;;]
Incorrect. [But she isn't going to stand around and let this woman ask her questions and get some answers; she's not here for that, and already having her know that much bothers her enough.
Simply looking at Nami makes Kusanagi uneasy, somehow. She needs to change this.]
[Like all the other times, a flash of light encases her as she switches to her battle armor. Her expression remains empty as she begins to hover a little higher above the ground, the eight swords that materialized around the armor hovering around her.]
I am Kusanagi... the blade that will destroy all. [And let's make a point:]
[And not something she can deal with. She'll put the trauma on hold for now-- the climatact is out in seconds, snapped together, but Nami isn't attacking with it. Nope. Running.]
[She can deal with this dance and song; it's all the same in the end. Refusing to let her escape, especially at this point, Kusanagi pursues Nami with the intent of exacting the same treatment she gave those poor woodland creatures earlier.
...of course, it won't be long until she realizes that there's something wrong with this.]
[No, no. The Nami running for the forest is perfectly legitimate in every way. Really.
The real Nami is heading in an entirely different direction, sprinting in the direction of home. She just hopes the mirage keeps Mu distracted enough for Nami to get out of threat range. She can't deal with Mu on this powerscale. Not only that, she won't.]
[Kusanagi isn't going to immediately realize the one she's following is a fake, but her eyes narrow when she detects her presence elsewhere and no longer feels anything here. She stops short, watching Nami run off into the bush as she begins to work out exactly what the heck is going on here.]
...relocating target. Searching, searching... new location found. Pursuing target. [And she begins to head in the direction of the real Nami. Hope you don't mind the surprise.]
Nami glances over her shoulder a few seconds later and blanches. Oh shit. So you're a step above Nu, then. Abruptly, then, she changes directions, vanishing in the gap between two houses. You have swords and she's wllling to bet they act just like Nu's. Hell if she's going to give you a clear shot if she can manage it.]
