[Somewhere within the village, someone may be able to hear the voice of Noel Vermillion screaming bloody murder. The only difference is that her voice may have gone up a few pitches

[A seagull is flying near the area when it hears the shrill cries of a young girl in peril! Obviously this is a critical moment of life and death, as a spider clearly draws closer. So what shall this brave seagull do in this fairy's time of need!?
Nothing!!!
...except for squawk as it watches the poor fairy. Almost gleefully. Mocking her.]
But, well, it's only funny for some time. ...Okay it might be a little funny to see Noel be eaten, but really it doesn't seem like a fair fight. And Bern can't mock her if she's dead.
So, she swoops over to grab Noel and yank her off the web, picking her off by one of her wings in the beak. Now you have a mouth biting down on a wing. ...Better than being eaten, right?]
[She hears that and bites down just a little harder to bug you. Bern resents that remark. Man she is no cannibal and you look like you have radiation poisoning. She's only rescuing you because the spider would have probably died from indigestion.
Eventually she'll get to a flat surface and spit the faerie out onto the ground.]
S-Stop that, it hurts! I-- kyah! [Hope you're enjoying this, Bern, who... Noel doesn't even know is Bern. Or that girl she spoke to a month ago, whichever.
Nevertheless, Noel getting thrown on the ground like that makes her realize that there may be more than meets the eyes here.] ...huh? What are you...?
[Bern looks down at the faerie as it tries to move her wings and squawks. But, instead of going for her, she instead nestles herself a couple feet away from Noel and looks out. Rather than leaving the faerie to fend for itself she'll wait with it until someone might come by. Either that or if it finds a way to move it's wings again without grievance.
Some people just don't appreciate being rescued she supposes. Oh well. She'll squawk again and look at Noel with a slight head twist. What is wrong with you? Heal faster dummy!!]
[Well Bern thinks as much, given she's a faerie and all. Faeries can do that, right!?
The seagull squawks and shakes its head. Though it really doesn't have the neck for it, so it's more like turn it's head to one side and quickly to the opposite side a couple times.]
[It was either having a wing torn off or being eaten by a spider. Your call Noel.
The bird nods. ...Well nodding being putting its head up and then quickly down a couple times. These lacking necks are pretty annoying. She squawks again and flaps her wings a little. At this point the bird has figured out the voice, but doesn't say anything. ...Not that she can say anything, but you get the idea.]
[Well, yes. She wouldn't mind sacrificing a wing if it meant not being near a spider. Fortunately for Bern, Noel still has no idea that it's Bern... or that it's even one of the residents.
It's strange, though. Noel doesn't think she's ever seen a bird that looked like this before... well, that doesn't matter! After a few moments, Noel tries to to fly again. She hisses in pain, because ow, it does still kind of hurt a lot, but not so much to the point where it's unbearable to even try.]
[Yeah something is wrong. You called her a 'Mr'! The bird will squawk again and poke Noel gently with her beak, trying to see if the faerie can fly again.]
[Nuh uh! It's totally a guy bird. Totally. Gentle as it could have been, the beak still scares her enough to make her jump away and back into the air again. Okay, okay, she's flying!]
Nothing!!!
