[Ragna is in the apartment, minding his own business while eating from a bag of chips on the couch. He's shuffling through the pages of his journal, looking for anything interesting or important that might catch his attention, but to no avail for now. Other than that, he's just lightly nudging Sol with his feet in an affectionate way. It's quite a sight for Ragna the Bloodedge, really.

If anything, he's just waiting for Noel to show up -- because he's so bored. It's probably more interesting than whatever he's reading/listening to. She's been missing from the apartment for awhile. Where is his daily dosage of derp, dammit?]

[He looks over to Noel. Then just waves a little before turning his attention back to his journal. What? It's not like he's a heartless bastard who can't like hanging out with Sol.]

[Today's the day that Ragna wanted to get something really important done. He's running a bit behind in the regard of training with Noel, and he didn't want them to fall behind much. Recent events aside, there's no excuse.

So... in the morning, Ragna is up and about, getting ready to do such a thing. After getting the equipment together, he's going upstairs.

Knock, knock. Rise and shine, Noel.]

[Sorry, Ragna. It's eight in the morning, and Noel hadn't slept much the previous night, so the knock isn't going to garner too much attention.

[Adell is out on patrol, clearing his mind. He's not figuring there's going to be trouble. There almost never is during patrols. Still, he's walking along keeping an eye out, definitely not expecting what he's about to run into.]

[Nor is Noel, who was actually on her way to the barracks; the teleporter, more specifically. There's a certain someone she's on her way to meet... but without the assurance of feeling protected, the blonde can't help but keep on her toes, avoiding people if she can.

Especially considering the whole, you know, nearly getting killed last night.

...obviously, though, she can't avoid people forever, and that's when she sees him. Noel can't help but stop and stare.

[And he pauses when he sees the blonde girl... and for a moment, for both of them it's like being a "deer caught in headlights" sort of thing.

But she can't move. No matter how hard she screams at herself to run, her legs refuse to respond. Noel is locked in place. Trapped -- the only thing stopping her being Adell. The one she fought...

[So. After ditching Hakumen in the plaza while it was raining, Ragna just grabbed Noel and fucking ran. And once he got back to the house (where they left the door open, go figure), he just runs inside and slams the door shut with his foot. Then kind of abruptly drops Noel onto the ground while falling to his knees, panting. It wasn't that bad of a drop for Noel. Not as bad as he dropped Hakumen, at least. He just couldn't hold her anymore, even if her ass was right in his face.

His heart has never beaten so quickly.] ... Dammit.

[Well. She wasn't the one hauling the both of them, so perhaps she's not as tired, but her heart? It feels like it's running at a thousand miles per seconds. The last few weeks have been a nightmare, sure, but hauling a potentially homicidal Six Hero out of your own home while trying to keep him asleep and nearly crushing to death by said hero is really just too much.

Thankfully, she manages to catch herself as... go figure, she drops to the ground from exhaustion with Ragna. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.]

They really don't like us, do they? Or maybe... maybe they just get some sort of sick, twisted satisfaction from watching us suffer...

[Sorry, Noel. He didn't mean to drop you like that. It's just that he couldn't take it anymore and had to support his own weight better. Plus, he's exhausted now. More exhausted than he has been in a long time. It's ridiculous, actually.]
