(no subject)
Well tonight was sorta busy, but I liked it!
I recorded some of Mike Catania's tunes for Mas n' Steel with me on set, Matt Flynn on bass, and some other cats on pans. It was way cool! I enjoyed it a lot. Mike really likes the way I play apparently, even though I thought I could've sounded better if I hadn't had to play on that shitty ass kit they have. Anyway, whatever, so I think he's gonna ask me to drum on all the future Mas n' Steel recordings, but maybe he was just kidding when he said that.
Also, Matt has been stabbed in the back and won't be directing Lion Steel next year. Bummer =( I love that guy.
But yeah I really sessions like tonight, things just feel good when you get done doing something like that. You feel way productive! A good feeling for sure. So tomorrow, I'm going to do more productive things. I'm getting up bright and early to get my air conditioning fixed on my car. Yeah, I've been driving around all summer without A/C; sue me. But I'm getting sick of it. I think I got fed up for the last time when Laura and I went to lunch earlier this week and I was sweating so bad because it was like 100 degrees in my car. Oh well, enough of that!
After that gets fixed I'm going to get my car washed (or maybe wash it myself, I'm not sure) because it's dirty as hell! I drove my Mom's car the other night and was astonished at how bright all the lights in Tallahassee are when your windshield isn't caked with dirt.
Aaaand, I think I'm also going to mow my lawn and clean my house before heading off to a nice evening of doing whatever I'm doing! So anyway, be chill everybody and remember to let your mind float now and then!
