Writer's Block: Lights Out
It was maybe 2 months after we moved up to the Adirondack mountains of N.Y. There was severe nor-easter sometime around the 12th of Oct. The power went out @ about 11a.m. and didn't come back on till about 5 p.m. the following day! My family and I laughed it off
and we sat around the candles talking and laughing, sharing funny stories and just enjoying each others company! It was something we hadn't done since the kids were small. We had a blast! And when we awoke the next day, the power still had not been restored so,
we all piled in the car and went for a long drive, dinner and a good flick! We seriously enjoyed each other's company a great deal!
And it was all due to a power outage! It was almost as if God did that to bring us closer together!! And thats my power outage story!
