update....schmupdate....
well life is.....well, life. not much going on. as you might have seen in the last post, we have a house. we close on the 9th so until then, we cant do anything. molly and i went and picked out paint, tile, carpet, a fan, etc. we know what we are gonna do, we just gotta wait until the closing date to get going. pretty exciting. looks as though rob will be making it up here via EMCC....*knock on wood*. we are gonna get him going and fix things up so he can go wherever he wants go to after he gets his associates degree.
well work is.....well, work. not much going on. ive got the prices for all chemicals from four different chemical suppliers so ive got that to do. theyve also started reworking some of the grad student offices here in the building so ive been helping move desks and paint and stuff. its a change of pace from what i normally do but its starting to get old. i helped out at the MAEA meetings on friday cooking catfish, hushpuppies, and french fries.
free time is.....well, free. not much going on. this seems a little repetitive. last week there wasnt much free time. vacation bible school at longview baptist church was a happening thing. it was pretty fun. i helped out where i could. mosly i was in charch of attendance records and helping out in all the classrooms and kitchen work. thursday i played in a 4 man golf scramble..in the rain. we finishing 4 under par. we did alright but would have been alot better if the cup was an inch bigger. theres not alot you can do when its been raing for 3 weeks straight here.
