Give them the strength to pull through

i haven't been to church in at least 12 or 13 years on a regular basis. I admit that I have only gone because of my wedding, other people's weddings, christenings and easter. probably a combined total of 20 or so visits in the last 13 years. i don't pray for anyone or say a prayer for that matter any more then once a year or so. I don't think i even know HOW to pray anymore. So here i am, in front of my computer, writing in LJ, my release, and trying to remember how to pray...because in times of trouble i do know that, in my beliefs, it helps. So i'm praying to God or whoever else i'm supposed to pray to, for 2 of my friends. And i'm doing it thru my computer. They need help. They need guidance. I believe they're meant to be together just as much as i believe lisa and i are meant to be together. So here goes: God, give my friends the strength to pull thru this tough time. They belong with eachother and make eachother happy. Please give them both the clearheadedness that they need to see thru their problems and realize that their love for eachother is all that matters and the rest will fall into place.

I hope this stuff still works.

Anyway, our cat Amstel survived his balls getting chopped off last week. He is now known as Amstel Light, my jizz-free cat. Poor little guy. He walked around all day after the surgery pointing at his crotch and saying, "come on man! are you kidding me here?"
