giving thanks for He-man references on a Friday night
Back in Philly, reading books and making long trips to the library and staring at my computer screen again. It was fun to have an excuse to relax and visit people over the Thanksgiving weekend, but also good to get back to dealing with all the stuff I have to bang out before the next holiday.
It was really good seeing everyone for the weekend. I feel bad for missing the folks I missed, but I'll be back before too long. Anyone who didn't see me and would like to spend way too much time with me to catch up should consider joining me for my cross-country drive in a month or so. But not really, unless you're crazy hardcore.
My current distraction is thinking up song titles for our Devil's Crush tribute band. I kind of blew my wad on the title of our first single, "Zombie Fetus (In the Maw of the Lizard Queen)", but I'm sure other songs will come to me that can help pad out the debut album. In any case, this is still a way, way better idea than "Gravy Dreadnought", the Thanksgiving concept band I thought up while chopping vegetables last Thursday.
