More userpics.

I just uploaded several userpics avatars. Holy crap, I did something I said I'd rarely care about. Ehh, whatever.

(Yes, that's what I'll call them. For consistency between LJ, forums, and AIM. They are avatars.)

Actually, I did that yesterday. Three new ones include this pic of Simon Belmont from Castlevania 1, as well as the purple glowy Ridley thingy from Metroid Zero Mission promo material, and a picture of "Arc", a character that I'm working on (the image is from artwork by Eriance; I should draw up a nice picture of her and upload that instead sometime, but I don't really have occasion to use it yet anyway). I kinda don't feel right using someone else's not-formally-"published" artwork for an avatar, without asking. *

I already had a picture of bulbasaur from a while back, as well.

I was looking for good avatar of Asuka from Evangelion. One that shows her angry, but not in a crazy-pissed sort of way. A fiery determination to combat an oppressive, unfair fate. There's a piece of fanart I saved onto my computer that gets this across, but unfortunately, it doesn't resize elegantly for me to actually use it in an avatar. Unfortunately, most Asuka avatars I've found have some other text, or have her smiling, or something else I don't quite like. Well, there's one pose that I'll also take, which is her sitting in Unit 02 in a pensive pose, right hand on shoulder. I think it may be from End of Evangelion, based on my running into it once.

Also, I might change Arc to Leviathan from MMZ at some point. I dunno.

* Okay, I know, my usual avatar up to now has been the creature "Seraph" from a flash game. Yeah, ethical dissonance. I'm not exactly sure what to do about this at this point, to be honest--I've used this avatar for a bit too long that people probably recognize this as representing me, especially since it's obscure enough that some people might have seen my avatar before hearing about that game. Which could be a problem if Mr. Fallmann ever complains. I guess I'm just going to have to hope he doesn't...

(If you are Mr. Fallmann, do feel free to initiate contact with me by commenting on this post.)
