I think I passed an acquaintance in the hall today without acknowledging him. Well, maybe I mistook someone else for him. Whoops in any case.
And I think our transport processes class now has a lab, too. As if nasty batches (read: sets) of problems weren't enough...oh yeah, so each of us recitation groups has been divided into two parts. Subgroup A will be getting data from a server; subgroup B will be getting data directly from the apparatus, plus feeding some additional data to subgroup A. Question: why this funky design--half in-lab and half virtually attending?
Definitions time:
triangle relation: n. a situation in which three persons are mutally on good terms with each other.
unjoined triangle relation: n. a situation involving three persons in which one person is on good terms with the other two but the latter two do not know each other.
broken triangle relation: n. a situation involving three persons in which one person is on good terms with the other two, but the latter two are not on good terms with each other.
Another one of my assignments threw me on a new loop two days ago. It's the one where I have to write a paper about some aspect of protein microarrays. Two days ago, I would have said that the paper would be about protein microarrays. That's not a good idea, it turns out. Now I have to re-research this new subtopic and create a new outline for myself to work from. Is this what rewrites are allowed for? as opposed to issues with textual quality?
Today, in transport class recitation, I know I hadn't read the weblab manual yet, but I personally doubt much of the class did either. Same goes with science ethics recitation, as for the class readings. We have a paper due in that class next week. Weblab report is due at the end of next week for that.
I've decided on something for my RPG. There will be a "Vampire Killer" whip, although it might not be identified as such (I have yet to decide on that). Except its presence will have to dawn on the player. It shouldn't be readily obvious.
And I love working with multiple meanings and skillful manipulation of language. Like that last line I recently added to my Facebook profile. Code can be one of two things.
(By the way, if you want to throw double-meaning phrases at me, make sure they're clean. I do NOT appreciate dirty jokes, and you should know that if you know me.)
