It's probably a bad idea to major in a subject where you're not likely to get a passing grade in an intro class.
Yeah, the physics on Thursday didn't go so well (understatement of the year). We had to write an essay in it, and we were supposed to have written it before the test, but I completely blanked out on it, so I did the rest of the test as quickly as I could (well, did my best on it, anyways, which was very bad), then used what little time I had left to patch together a mediocre essay. Of course, finishing the rest of the test wasn't very easy, either. Most of the stuff on the test was exactly what I hadn't studied, I had completely forgotten that I could have a page of notes (which ended up being basically a necessity), and I could hardly stay awake. I'm guessing I probably got at max a 30% on the test, and he doesn't curve. It was worth 30% of my grade (and I didn't do very well on the first test either, nor on homework), so even if I get a 100% on the final (which is extremely unlikely), I can only get a 65% in the class, which is not passing for a major. I'm not really sure what do to here: most of my plans had been based on majoring in physics, and I can't retake the course (I could take a non-honors course to replace it, but that would be lame). Any advice?
It has also been a very bad weekend. But more on that a tiny bit later.
