Been a busy week this past week between preparations for the bujutsu competition in Sendai next weekend and celebrating with the biffle his birthday~~ It always kinda amused me how I'm the oldest and he was the youngest out of our gang~~ ...Well, aside from Kouichi, but he's a second-year...Though even considering that, even he is only a couple of

[ooc: >.> kinda freaked out by the similarities, because chinen DOES like his plants D:]

[OOC: Yeah, it kinda is weird that they have all these similarities. And I really am surprised they haven't spoken more considering it. >>;]

Even though I'm going to be doing a Biochemistry major, botanics is one of my favourit my hobbies. Mostly poisoness plans... and maybe others not so legal~
[ooc: believe it or not, I never made the connections u_u ]

Thanks to my mother having me help her in her oversized flower garden from a young age and my grandfather's interests in plants for more spiritual purposes, botanics has been something I've had an interest in for a long time~~ So it seemed only natural for me to work in a florist shop~~ I'm also on Hyoutei's beautification committee for the same reasons~~ And the school's lawn and shrubbery looks a lot better than it did three years ago as a result, I can tell you that much~~ ...Here's just hoping the idiots who'll be left in charge after I graduate don't fuck up all the work I've done after all this time......Fond of plants that can alter one's state of mind, I take it~~
[OOC: Well, I didn't exactly see the similarities myself. So I guess it's just not an obvious thing. Probably because despite their similarities, their personalities as a whole are completely different. >>]

Your family also sounds quite interesting. Beautification committee was always an interest of mine as well, but I never joined the one at Shiten. I'm a little too OCD for that~ It's Hyoutei, I'm sure they'll preserve it. ;)
Indeed~ Some for medical purposes ;P>/s>
[ooc: indeed, they are in many ways the opposite, apart from having similar interests in life.]

That is very unique. Do you follow your family's tradutions?
Spiritual journeys? That interests me~ I would love to know more about those plants of yours. Some I know of but never really had the change to experiment with.

Yup~~ And someday I'll take over my grandfather's title...Though these days, it'll be little more than a title for me...Ojii-san's kind of job doesn't exactly make much money these days...
If you want, you're more than welcome to drop by the flower shop I work at and I'll show you some of the plants I'm talking about~~ The boss keeps a number of them among our collection of "medicinal" plants~~ I've got more aside from those in my own personal collection that I got from my grandfather, though I'm still in the process of growing a lot of them or their seeds haven't finished maturing yet...You're welcome to see them too, though, if you wish...

What exactly does he do?
I would love to stop to have a look at them. Whenever you are in, can stop by. What days are you usually working there and please, do PM me the address.

...These days...? Sit in his study and read over cryptic old religious texts from dead cultures, argue with our American ex-patriot next door neighbor, and on the occasional religious holiday, bless whatever needs to be blessed for that particular situation....But what's he *supposed* to do, you mean...? Well, in the past, as a Sosensuuhai priest, he would've been responsible for taking care of all the people's spiritual needs and advice, along with communicating with the local gods to make sure they were happy with the townspeople so that famine and disease didn't rain down on them, performing healing incantations for the ill, tending to the spirits of the deceased and making sure they're properly remembered at the ( ... )

It's a shame. Certain things should be preserved. Hopefully, it won't die out completely and as long as you pass it on, it won't.
I can stop by tomorrow since I only have an exam in the morning. Thank you ;), I'm actually quite excited now to see the beauties you have~
