Between kicking everyone else's asses in beach volleyball except Yuujirou's, who Rin insisted upon letting win....no freebies for him and the mini-Buddha next time, though...and watching Kei kick the ass of his own opponent in the sumo ring...plus the joyous welcoming of Higa's old fearless leader to the realm that is Hyoutei (I think I actually managed to catch him off guard for once when I all but knocked down his dorm room door and proceeded to violate his personal space by giving him one of the most powerful and manliest hugs in the world~~), I believe this weekend managed to keep me pretty damn busy~~ It was a lot of fun though...Chiba's beaches will never compare to Okinawa's...Not even by a long shot. And you Rokkaku goers can argue otherwise until you're blue in the face, but you're gonna keep being wrong~~ Your Pun-kicker will get to find out how wrong soon enough when he visits our hometown eventually~~ But it was still nice there...And any visit to the beach...a real beach is a good one and makes me feel at ease...Something that me and my fellow Higa alumni have missed while in the sprawling big city that is Tokyo...It's not easy for us living in the metropolis and away from the elements we grew up around...Maybe that's the real reason for why Eishirou took so damn long to get up here...So it's always nice to get to experience something that reminds us a bit of being home again...
...We didn't stay the night like a lot of the others did, though...Mostly because we had to get back to Tokyo in time for Kei's sumo match...Which in itself was interesting as well...I know Rin definitely thought so, at least...I've got fucking claw marks on my hand now thanks to it...He actually drew blood from digging his fingers in hard enough...Never witnessed a sumo match before...But Kei was way above his opponent in skill and easily floored him~~ Don't think these Mainlander rikishi were ready for someone of Okinawan origin~~ And I get the feeling he's going to cause a big storm in the sumo circuit because of it~~ ...I'm looking forward to seeing what happens as a result...Should be fun to watch~~
...But between his win and the fact that we've now got the boss up here with us, this definitely calls for a Higa-style celebration~~ And you know how Okinawans like to celebrate~~? That's right~~! With lots of alcohol and loud partying near a beachside and...and fireworks~~! Need to ask Keigo if I can borrow some of his...He's always got plenty to spare~~ All of which should be enough to wake the elderly who will come out and yell at us whippersnappers to turn off our rock n' roll and to go home and study...But we'll yell back for them to shut up, old bag. You're not the boss of me~~ ...It'll be fun~~ Just like the good ol' days back in Naha~~ ...Except we're missing Kouichi and Tomoya still....I really fucking miss those two...Even if Tomoya still freaks out most of the time whenever he sees me~~ ...Maybe we'll give them a call when the rest of us get together to celebrate.......I miss those days...Which is all the more reason for why we need to celebrate~~ Just us as the old Higa team~~
...Aside from that....Ojiji, I need to talk to you about something..........But I forgot why~~ Oh well~~ Guess you know how that feels~~ I'll tell you whenever I figure out what it was....which may be never~~
