I found out my former co-worker has been spreading lies about me. Saying Id be absent without informing in advance, which never happened. I mean I was rushed to ER once, but I still told him about it eight hours before the shift, and we werent even formally starting then yet. Should I talk to him about it? I mean if he's telling my friend, he's telling a lot more people no?
I think it's unfair he's painting that picture of me being a slacker when I bust my ass off working and trying to be considerate. Should I ask him about it in person, or do I email?
