I think I like today..
I never write in here when I'm in a good mood. Not sure why. This is one of those rare times.
It was beautiful outside today and my sister and I took a nice long walk to enjoy it. Today was my last day of work for the summer. Tomorrow I'm going into the city. Thursday I'm hanging out with Steve. Friday, at some point, I'm packing and then Saturday I leave for vacation. When I get back I have a whole six days before leaving for my last long journey to Oneonta. (Same drill as last year. Staying near Geneseo Friday night. Moving in Kristin Saturday. Staying in Bing that night. Breakfast at iHop *mm* and off to Oneonta early Sunday morning.) I'm anxious to get back and see everyone again. And figure out if my rooming situation is going to be okay. And getting to know some new people. And even for my classes to an extent. Psychology + Music + Dr. O'Shea = recipe for success. Not only does this class combine two things I'm extremely interested in, its being taught by one of my two favorite professors. Also, today I decided that "verbatim" is totally one of my favorite words.
I feel like I've had a really good day, and I also feel like I haven't had one of them in awhile. I have an inkling they'll be a lot more prevalent soon. :)
//Edit - 1:30am: I posted that and was going to head right to sleep, when I saw on the previews for Ace of Cakes that they're going to make a Scrabble cake! Now I need to stay awake and see how awesome this turns out. I'm pretty sure I'm going to want one now. Someone should make that happen. I should have gone to sleep 45 minutes ago like I had planned.
