bad subway karma!
i went out today to run some errands...post office (again!) and then toys r us for my nephew's present. now after trudging through the tourist masses in toys r us in times sq, all i wanted to do was to go home and RELAX before i go out again tonite. i've got a big bag full of hot wheels and i get on my train. the darn train makes the last stop right before going into queens...the tunnel has a switching problem!! everyone off. fine. i figure it would take a while (since they don't have a clue, i had no way to be sure) so i decided to go BACK to times sq and take the 7 train to at least get me to queens. i do, i'm in queens...the stop before i get to my switch stop? everyone off, the train has a mechanical problem or something!! W.T.F??! what are the odds that each train i get on to go home has to be taken out of service?!
i'm wiped.
but i have to go out again to another show with some friends in the village. i'm not looking forward to tackling the subways again! grrrrrrr.
on a lighter note, how does the caramel in the snickers ice cream bar stay so ooey gooey delish? :p
