It's the fifteenth already. That half of the month went quickly. There was a time when summer seemed to drag by, but I suppose it's been awhile since Mikel was in high school. And middle school. And grade school.
I'm going to be making another trip soon to deal with business. There are a few issues that need to be resolved, and one of our frequent clients wants a meeting. That should be interesting, at least. I can at least communicate better now, so I should be able to manage to deal with most of it. It'll feel good to get back into the swing of things again. I'm hoping this is a good sign for the future, although there are several things that need to be decided before then.
Yard work beckons, so I need to answer that call. It's not as hot out today, so it's a good day to do it. I can't handle the heat as well as I used to.
