In this, the year of our Lord 2010, Iggy Pop, the Godfather of Punk, the shirtless self-cutter, the smearer of peanut butter, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside an act with an equally hardcore reputation, ABBA. I can only hope that an improvisational jam session was part of the ceremony, for in such an act the universe would be simultaneously destroyed and remade.
