The Nouklear option
Har I'm so funny. I posted this on GoS already but I'm going to spam here too, just because I haven't spammed LJ in a while :P I took a stab at Nouking a couple of hairs I've been meaning to do for a while. One is a Briher ponytail based on the Seasons ponytail, and the other is an oldish Helga hair. I haven't seen any retex or recolors of either, other than some drpf did of the Helga one (but most of his are multicolor so not really suitable for binning, although they're lovely).
I had to do a log of fussing with the textures to get the Briher one to look not-weird, and well it looks a little messy. I haven't decided if I like it or not. I might do the rest of the colors because it's still better than the Maxis-y original colors (which are themselves better than Maxis textures usually are) but if I upload it'll probably be here rather than Astray or GoS.

The Helga hair did rather better, I think. I tend to think of the mesh as the Salma hair, because it reminds me of Salma Hayek in Dogma.
