two days in a row, around 8am, LJ has temporarily cut out for me. is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

four things i might try to change. i assume that there's a place towhere i could send these, and people might even act on them, but i'm not sure where that place is.

1. lj-grep - everyone wants the ability to search their LJs, i think. tags make this somewhat easier, but certainly don't solve everything.

is there any way to set it up so that when you post to lj using the basic web client, the default security setting is something other than "Public" ("Friends" would be my preferred choice ( Read more... )

so if you're using the standard abbreviation for the phrase "a livejournal", do you write
"a lj"
or
"an lj"
?
if i say it out loud, i lean towards the second, but if i think about what it's abbreviating, i lean towards the first...

i'm curious as to what clients other people use for lj - i just use the web client, but i noticed that there's an lj client extension for mozilla...
