Hi! I found you in linguaphiles and then I decided to read your profile a bit. Are you still tranfering to UNT? I'm currently studying Spanish and public relations there. I took a phonetics course and it was quite interesting. As far as linguistics, the teacher that seems to have specialized in it is Yoon and she told us that linguistic courses were mainly available for grad students. *sigh* She's a great teacher and quite animated though. Anyway, I'm adding you to my friends list and hopefully I'll be able to read your entries at some point :-) By the way, my journal just recently became friends only as well due to some reasons that I will not mention online :-)
Yeah, I'm still transfering to UNT, hopefully. That is, if my parents' credit goes through for the loan. *worried* Thanks for the details. I still dunno what I want to do. I will be taking art classes, and definitely Spanish classes, but I dunno about Linguistics. Ya veremos.

Hey, don't worry about what people think about you. If they like you for who you are, then great and if not, then too bad. You can't please everybody :-) However, if you feel weird about me reading your journal because there's a slim possibility we might have a few classes together, then let me know and we can chat instead via email, Livejournal comments or AIM. :-)
Yeah, I totally agree with you. I'm thinking of just going ahead and adding you and about 5 or so others. Good Lord that's a lot in one day. People have been adding me left and right the past few days. What gives? o_o; For a while I was not popular on LJ. Then I joined a few communities, and people started flocking in. Then I went friends only, and it went quiet again, but now people want in! LOL. Mostly UNT people...

Awesome. I will stay tuned for sure. People at UNT are friendly for the most part and we're all social (on LJ). I met my ex-bf through LJ. I just recently started posting pictures a whole lot. I thought I might keep a combination of a photojournal and a journal with words. :-)

That's good to know. I just find it weird that I will eventually know some people on my list in person. That's quite scary. And to think, I won't be able to say what I think of everyone if they're gonna be reading it! Ack! I guess I'll have to set up some filters. *sigh*
Well, I just recently acquired that role as co-maintainer, so... which reminds me, I still need to do a lot of stuff for that community: redoing the userinfo, the layout, etc. Ugh. Okay, LJ's being a butt. *sigh*
I can't figure out why it's scary to you, unless you're really a creep in real life, or you have some sort of disfiguring illness or it turns out you actually are triangular shaped or something (don't laugh, that happened to me one time... but even that guy wasn't afraid to meet me). I met Brenda on LJ and she's one of my best friends now. The only way to experience many of life's greatest pleasures is to first experience vulnerability.
LOL. Nah, I'm very quiet and to myself in person. I'm just extremely skinny (5'8'' 100lbs) if that's a problem. Yeah, I know about you and Brenda. :) And you've finally been added. I'm just lazy.
Actually I read a study in Human Sexuality class that basically said that on average men actually prefer women who are slightly larger than they think men prefer, and women prefer men who are moderately thinner than they think women prefer. If that makes any sense. In other words, girls like skinny guys. I imagine Brenda told you she knew me, is that why I'm finally in on the exclusivity that is your journal? (Rhetorical question.)
Yeah, that makes sense if I were really into women (I really don't care about gender, me=open-minded). And to answer your rhetorical question that should'nt need an answer: no, I noticed you added me a long time ago; I just never added back because, well, read my userinfo. :P
