Day 1 Accutane at little bit of TMI so reader beware
Okay, so I have struggled with acne for years. Oddly, I started to get deep cystic acne around the same time I met Devon. I had great skin through High School but as an adult I have had to deal with painful cystic acne that leaves scars. These scars can last up to six months.
I have used every acne product on the market save one. I have yet to try accutane. Well, until today. I am going to try an journal my accutane experience. This is mostly so that I can record any side effects or issues but it also incase other people are looking for information on accutane.
Some important notes about this drug. It causes birth defects so I cannot get pregnant while I take this drug. I have to take monthly pregnancy tests before I can get my prescription filled. I also have to go on-line and answer questions about how I plan to avoid getting pregnant.
There are a lot of hoops to jump through. I pray that its worth it.
