Being Bad

Apr 25, 2005 01:07

If you could do one totally irresponsible or even bad thing with absolutely no consequences, what would it be and why?

//Of course, you notice how many beings from younger races felt it necessary to point out that *dramatic pause* there are always consequences...//

\\Yes, I had. Kind of hard to miss it.\\

//The question itself makes it a little obvious that there's an awareness of that fact...//

\\Shh -- they're young. They'll learn. Or, they won't...\\

No matter how much they hate to admit it, their enemies the Vorlons are a necessary evil in the universe. Some part of the great cosmic balance that keeps it from tipping into utter chaos -- the destructive kind, not the constructive chaos that they try to bring to help the younger races grow and reach their potential.

But, if that restriction were gone -- if there were no consequences for one bad act... They would bring their fleet -- all of it, and the Planet Killers, and the fleets of all of their allies and followers -- and destroy the Vorlon homeworld. Wipe it out, reduce it to its component atoms and then scatter those to the cosmic winds, so that their enemies would have no way to reconstruct their base of power.

Obviously, there would still be Vorlons, because too many of them are off on other worlds, meddling in those races' lives, but they would be without their seat of power. It would be glorious...
