Yes, another AU! *head, desk*

But glad to hear it's intriguing you. I went from mood piece to plot pretty quick and I'm still not sure about it. :D

It's twisty because I started in one place and realized I could go another place! LOL! But I'll claim credit for doing it on purpose.

You posted!!!!! YAYAYAY!!!! *happy dancing*

I'm so excited.

I love William Adama the writer already. And the mysterious 'married' Laura with her dowdy clothes. I love that Bill thinks she's a beautiful dame anyway. Aw, he's so sweet. And her sticking up for William Adama and his talent! Aw, she's so sweet.

But Gaeta? Really? *snort*

Yeah, I had to get myself into as many mudpits of plotting as soon as possible. *head, desk*

I can see Bill as a writer easily, as long as he's writing something manly and action-filled. All his worlds together!

I channeling mini series Laura, hard! Think helmet head!

I love that Bill thinks she's a beautiful dame anyway.

He is searching for a muse, after all. *snort*

But Gaeta? Really? *snort*

I can't please you all the time, can I?

Oooooh, this is delicious! Pulp-author Bill in a leather jacket and horn-rim glasses? Sister (or is it ex-nun) Laura? How A can a U get? I'm sensing some truly tantalizing forbidden-fruit potential. ;) I'm very curious as to why she left her previous school, and if she's actually still a nun -- I hope you post again soon!

(Was it you and Aussie having a comment exchange a while ago suggesting priest Bill and nun Laura might hold some promise?)

Pulp-author Bill in a leather jacket and horn-rim glasses?

I know. I Laura had to linger on that image for a bit.

Sister (or is it ex-nun) Laura? How A can a U get?

Just need to think of mini series Laura, with her dowdy clothes and being forgettable at parties. Aussie and I were talking--and I can't even remember what started this topic now--how power gave Laura that assurance and a more sexual manner.

I hope you post again soon!

That's why I like starting stories around holidays so I can get a running start at them!

(Was it you and Aussie having a comment exchange a while ago suggesting priest Bill and nun Laura might hold some promise?)When I ran this idea by Aussie, she remembered that someone was tossing around a priest Bill idea. LOL! I don't remember us chewing over this idea, but maybe someone was ( ... )

*snort* I have no problem picturing it. Mary can be dowdy when she wants to be. :) In fact, I may have to upload a Mary-as-nun icon just for commenting on this story. ;)

*giggle* I would totally read that (but I'm even happier with this, I think).

She actually did an episode of 'Touched by an Angel' in which she played a nun...

Now I can't remember who wrote it, but I'm almost certain it was written for ar_drabbles challenge 24, the AU challenge -- Laura as a wicked woman and Bill as an innocent priest.

I'm assuming Laura is an ex-nun, since chose where to move and is looking for a job. If you have a priest named Adar disgrace her and cause her to leave the convent I may have to hurt you.

Interesting to see Adama has such open prejudices, and to speculate on why (other than probably having had a bad experience in a closed community) Laura is so put out at the idea of a small-town like community.

Ah, it wouldn't be a Frak comment without a threat against my life and limb. :D

Trust me, there's nothing like a lapsed Catholic for some very definite opinions about the church. I toyed with finally making Bill Jewish to fit the name, but went with someone battle-scarred by being raised in the Catholic church.

1. I don't think your children would appreciate me turning you into a puddle of goo, unable to cook Sabbath dinner.

2. You could write it yourself, you know. Although writing the perfect man may make flesh and blood suitors pale in comparison.
